BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about 12 grams were seized in an entrapment operation on Ylagan Street, Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Ronilio Cantones, 42, a resident of the village yielded the prohibited substance valued at around P81,600, a police report showed.
Policemen of San Carlos staged the operation around 5:40 p.m. on Jan. 20.
When frisked, Cantones yielded P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia. His motorcycle was also impounded.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
