ILOILO City – Police arrested a drug surrenderer allegedly possessing an unlicensed gun and threatening a tricycle driver in Barangay Talisay, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
He was 28-year-old Joebert Biti-onon of the town’s Barangay Salihid, a police report showed.
The suspect was caught around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 31.
Recovered from him was a 12-gauge shotgun.
Prior to his apprehension, Biti-onon allegedly threatened to shoot Earl Delariarte over a road argument.
The suspect was taken to the Barotac Nuevo police station, facing charges for grave threat and violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
