ILOILO City – A motorcycle rider died in a road crash in Barangay Calampitao, Miag-ao, Iloilo.
Police identified him as 44-year-old Fidel Diolazo, a telecommunications employee residing in Barangay Atabayan, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
The victim was on his way home around 9:10 p.m. on Jan. 31 when his motorcycle crashed against a truck driven by 40-year-old Jerson Gillermo.
Diolazo was rushed to the Rep. Pedro G. Trono Memorial Hospital in Guimbal, Iloilo but was later declared dead.
The truck driver, meanwhile, was taken to the Miag-ao police station./PN
