BACOLOD City – A murder suspect who escaped from the lockup facility of the police station of Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental was caught.
According to the police, resident 23-year-old Reco Laban fled on Oct. 14, 2020.
A joint operation by the military and police forces led to Laban’s arrest.
An MK2 fragmentation grenade was recovered during his apprehension around 2 p.m. on Jan. 29 in Sitio Tios in the town’s Barangay Quintin Remo.
He was put back to jail, facing more charges./PN
