DUMARAO, Capiz – Suffering from hypertension and a stroke, a husband in Barangay Dacuton here was believed to have been so depressed that he hanged himself.
The police declined to identify the man but said he was 74 years old.
The supposed suicide happened on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17, when the man’s wife and their child went to church.
When they came back, the wife and her child were shocked to discover the man hanging from the ceiling of their kitchen, police said.
The wife expressed willingness to have her husband’s body autopsied./PN
