ILOILO City – An officer of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) was injured in a road mishap in Barangay Maninila, Miag-ao, Iloilo.
The 26-year-old Jayvee Elduay was a resident of Bago City, Negros Occidental and assigned at the fire station of Guimbal, Iloilo.
The victim, onboard his motorcycle, was hit by an SUV around 10:30 a.m. on March 8, police said.
Elduay was brought to the Rural Health Unit in Miag-ao.
Police have yet to identify the suspect./PN
