ILOILO City – An inebriated man got injured in a vehicular accident along the highway of Barangay Agboy Sur, Leon, Iloilo.
The 51-year-old resident Alberto Guiloriza sustained cuts and bruises, police said. He was recuperating at the Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian, Iloilo.
According to the police, Guiloriza was crossing the highway around 8:30 p.m. on April 17 when hit by a motorcycle driven by Rusbel Candia, 25, of the town’s Barangay Captain Fernando.
Candia was detained in the custodial facility of the Leon police station./PN
