ILOILO City – Two drug pushing suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Mabini Street, Barangay Liberation here yesterday.
Detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 1 were Angeline Llono, 34, of Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala 1 and Reynaldo Rivales Jr., 28, of Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz, police said.
The two were caught selling suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,000.
Two more sachets of the prohibited substance were recovered from their possession around 12:30 a.m., police said.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
