BACOLOD City – The most wanted person in the municipality of Isulan, Sultan Kudarat province was arrested yesterday at Gold Crest Subdivision, Barangay Bata here.
Jesuhua Pico, 26, was also a high-value target of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 12 (Soccsksargen region, formerly known as Central Mindanao).
He was apprehended by combined elements of the Regional Intelligence Division 6, Bacolod City Police Station 3, and the Isulan municipal police station tracker team.
Pico was charged with violation of Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The arrest warrant (for Criminal Case No. 20-5862) was issued by Judge Lorenzo Balo of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 19 on Oct. 2, 2020.
The suspect was sighted at Gold Crest Subdivision on April 24. Immediately, operatives conducted casing and surveillance.
The court recommended no bail bond for Pico’s temporary liberty.
Pico was taken to the Bacolod City Police Station 3. He would be shipped back to Sultan Kudarat./PN
