BACOLOD City – In a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan, about P81,600 worth of alleged illegal drugs were seized.
Police arrested 27-year-old Maricel Mendoza, a tagged “high-value” target, around 12 noon on May 5.
Recovered from the suspect were nine sachets of suspected shabu and P500 marked money, a police report showed.
Mendoza was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 7.
She faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
