ILOILO City – A man was hacked in Barangay Lanag, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
The 32-year-old Salvador Tubola was taken to the Rep. Pedro Trono G. Memorial Hospital in Guimbal,
Iloilo.
He was attacked around 10 a.m. on May 12.
According to the police, suspect Marlon Amogod, 57, was homebound carrying fishes when he passed by the victim’s house. The victim asked for fish but the suspect “refused”.
The victim allegedly got a piece of wood and tried to hit the suspect. The latter reportedly retaliated, hacking the victim on the face.
The suspect was detained in the Tigbauan police station, facing charges./PN
