ILOILO City – Homemade firearms and ammunitions were recovered from a house in Barangay Santo Rosario, Anilao, Iloilo yesterday.
Police raided the residence of Gerald Dato, 40, around 7 a.m.
Recovered were a .9mm-caliber gun loaded with 10 bullets, two magazines, one holster, and a .38-caliber revolver with five ammunition, a police report showed.
Dato was detained in the lockup facility of the Anilao police station.
He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
