ILOILO City – A 46-year-old man got electrocuted along the highway in Barangay Bakabak, Sara, Iloilo.
Joan Pinicillia was a resident of the village.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on May 18.
Onboard a motorcycle, Pinicillia was with his nephew, Jonas Amangas, and friend Ronald Guerra, police said.
The three men came in contact with a loosely hanging power wire, investigation revealed.
Pinicillla died while being rushed to the Sara District Hospital.
Amangas and Guerra, meanwhile, sustained bruises./PN
