ILOILO City – For alleged illegal fishing, a resident was arrested in Barangay Lo-ong, Concepcion, Iloilo.
Jemuel Panganiban, 40, was taken to the Concepcion police station around 1 p.m. yesterday.
Personnel of the town’s Bantay Dagat said the suspect violated a municipal ordinance in relation to Republic Act 8550, or the Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998./PN
