ILOILO City – A 27-year-old woman was arrested in her house in Barangay Pangi, Passi City, Iloilo yesterday.
Rowena Villafuerte was charged with “two counts of estafa through falsification of commercial documents”, a police report showed.
Policemen served her an arrest warrant around 11 a.m.
Villafuerte was taken to the Passi City police station.
For her temporary liberty, the court recommended a P36,000 bail bond for each count of the estafa charge.
It was unclear, as of this writing, if Villafuerte posted bail./PN
