ILOILO City – A senior citizen was arrested in Barangay Caratagan, Calinog, Iloilo.
Seventy-one-year-old Diosdado Lavilla was charged with “robbery with homicide with the use of an unlicensed firearm,” a police report showed.
He was caught in his house on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10 a.m. on May 26.
Judge Roger Patricio of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 38 here ordered Lavilla’s arrest.
The suspect was detained in the Calinog police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
