ILOILO City – A 45-year-old farmer was found dead hanging inside a nipa hut in Barangay Nito-an, Guimbal, Iloilo yesterday.
The farmer was a resident of the town’s Barangay Santa Rosa-Laguna.
He was discovered by his wife at around 5:30 a.m. Around his neck was a sling of a bag.
His family claimed the farmer was suffering from depression and tried to commit suicide a few months ago./PN
