BACOLOD City – A jail visitor at the San Carlos City police station in Negros Occidental was arrested. He yielded a sachet of suspected shabu during a routine inspection.
The 36-year-old Gilbert Olid was a resident of Don Juan Street, San Carlos City. On Aug. 20 he went to the police station to visit a detained friend.
The cop assigned in guarding the jail performed a routine pat down and search on Olid.
As he was feeling the contents of a pack of powdered detergent Olid brought, he noticed an unusual object mixed with it.
He opened the pack to further check and discovered the sachet.
