BACOLOD City – Police arrested a rape suspect in Barangay Cambugsa, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Robert Palparan, a 44-year-old resident of the village, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 27.
Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 56 issued the warrant of arrest with no bail recommended.
The suspect was detained at the Hinigaran police station./PN
