BACOLOD City – After 25 years of hiding, a man accused of attempted rape was arrested in Barangay General Luna, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Sixty-nine-year-old Daniel Arisgar was caught around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.
Judge Renato Muñez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 60 (Cadiz City, Negros Occidental) issued the arrest warrant on March 8, 1996. He recommended an P8,000 bail bond for Arisgar’s temporary liberty.
The suspect was detained at the Sagay City police station.
It was unclear, as of this writing, if he posted bail./PN
