ILOILO City – In Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao, a 28-year-old security guard was arrested by the police.
JM Lasara of Purok 2, Barangay Bontoc, Lambunao, Iloilo was detained at the Mandurriao police station on June 16.
Around 9 p.m., the allegedly drunk suspect was creating a scene while holding a hand grenade.
Personnel of the Iloilo City Police Office’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit arrested Lasara and recovered an M26 fragmentation grenade.
Lasara faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
