‘Boy and girl officials’ of Iloilo province named

ILOILO – Fifteen 15 youth leaders have been chosen as “boy and girl officials” of Iloilo province.

Yesterday morning they were formally presented by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) provincial federation, Iloilo Provincial Youth Development Office and Iloilo Provincial Population Office.

 The youth officials are the following:

* Governor – Hannah Joy A. Borja (Alimodian National Comprehensive High School)

* Vice Governor – Israel Hans S. Golez (Iloilo National High School)

The youth Provincial Board members are the following:

* 1st District – Baby N T. Tamoy (Tubungan National High School), Adamsso Tejereso (Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School)

* 2nd District – Diorella J. Songcuya (Pavia National High School), Fritz Jaime I. Sumbo (Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School)

* 3rd District – Janmil Clyde C. Paraonda (Bingawan National High School), Erick John I. Toledo (Lambunao National High School)

* 4th District – France Eugene M. Cordero (Mina National High School), Carla Angela F. Herezo (Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School)

* 5th District – Rhianne Faye C. Alag (Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School), Hans Christian S. Fernandez (Barotac Viejo National High School)

* Liga ng mga Barangay president/ex-officio Board Member – Lieross S. Santiago (Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School

* Philippine Councilors League president/ex-officio Board Member – Danica S. Supresencia (Lambunao National High School)

* SK provincial federation president/ex-officio Board Member – Cathrain Rosch V. Manzano (Bololacao National High School)

“I hope that this exercise will give you a glimpse of what you will inherent in the future when someday you will be taking over the obligations and responsibilities of the provincial government,” said Gov. Arthur Defenso Sr.

He added: “According to our national hero, the youth is the future of our fatherland. That is correct. We need you in the future. But we need you more now. And even as you come out of this exercise, you let the voice of the youth be heard. And please continue to guide this province and this nation through your conscience and your voice.”/PN
