BACOLOD City – Three persons were arrested for alleged illegal gambling in Barangay Bubog, Talisay City, Negros Occidental around 12:41 p.m. on Nov. 14.
Talisay City police served the suspects warrants of arrest for the charge of violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the gambling law signed by Judge Ma. Gesilla Janina Tan dated Nov. 9, 2022.
The suspects were Jocel Toledo, 26; Wilrose Ollete, 21; and Ryan Entrina, 22, all residents of the said place.
They were detained at the custodial facility of the Talisay City Police Station.
The court recommended a bail bond of P30,000 each for the suspects’ temporary liberty./PN
