ILOILO – The father of a seven-year-old girl who was found dead in Concepcion town was already in the police custody.
He admitted sexually abusing his daughter but said he was drunk, said Police Major Samuel Vipinosa, chief of the Concepcion Municipal Police Station (MPS).
The victim was discovered dead in their house around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22.
Her pajama had blood stains, indicating a possible rape, Police Senior Master Sergeant Edcel Rey Casia earlier said.
Vipinosa added, “May witness kita nga nagatudlo man mismo sa iya (father). So lantawon ta lang kay ti pamatud-an ‘ya pa man ‘ni ang iya nga nahambal.”
The girl was brought to the Sara District Hospital for an autopsy. The Concepcion police are waiting for the result./PN
