GUIMARAS – No illegal drugs or paraphernalia were confiscated during the greyhound inspection at the Jordan District Jail Barangay Alaguisoc, Jordan on Saturday morning, Nov. 18.
The operation was carried out by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 6 and its K9 Unit, together with members of the PDEA-Guimaras Provincial Office and the personnel of Jordan District Jail, led by Senior Jail Officer 4 Emellete P. Naaman.
Random drug tests were also conducted among 25 Bureau of Jail Management and Penology personnel and 20 persons deprived of liberty.
All yielded negative results.
The operation was in line with the jail drug clearing efforts as well as ensuring that the Drug-Free Workplace Program was implemented./PN
