ANTIQUE – A 37-year-old man was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Monday afternoon, Dec. 11, in Sitio Tunnel, Barangay District 3, Sibalom.
Suspect Ernesto “Totok” Ellaga III, a resident of Barangay Cubay Sermon, Sibalom, was found in possession of one gram of suspected shabu with a street value estimated at P8,000 and buy-bust money.
Ellaga was nabbed by personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Antique, together with the Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Silablom Municipal Police Station.
The operation was carried out after authorities received a tip via the Isumbong Mo sa PDEA Hotline.
The suspect will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
