ILOILO – To combat the proliferation of illegal drugs in Western Visayas, the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) has carried out 166 strategic operations throughout January.
These resulted in the arrest of 230 individuals and the seizure of approximately 7,596.2508 grams of illegal substances valued at around P51,654,505.44.
Expressing pride in the collective accomplishments, PRO-6 director Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor emphasized the importance of collective effort.
“Through our unity, the day will come when Western Visayas will be free from drugs for the prosperous future of generations to come,” he said./PN
