BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Government will implement the salary increase for its job order casual employees.

The wage hike will reflect on the January payroll, said Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez.

About 3,800 job-order casuals availed themselves of the increase from P450 to P480 per day.

“I’m sure that the employees have already received their January salary during the first week of February,” the mayor claimed.

This is also despite the controversies about the performance of duties and responsibilities hounding some government employees here.

The city mayor said the increase is mandatory under Wage Order No. RBVI-27 by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board./PN
