AKLAN – The Ibajay Municipal Police Station (MPS) has launched a hot pursuit operation for the suspect in a shooting incident in the town’s Barangay Antipolo on Sunday, July 14.
Alias “Nonoy,” a resident of the village, fled after he allegedly shot his drinking buddy, 53-year-old Litari Lilinon Jr. at around 8 p.m.
Police said the two were having a drinking session when a heated argument ensued, leading to shooting.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound on the back of his head.
He was brought to Ibajay District Hospital but was later transferred to a hospital in Kalibo for proper treatment./PN
