BACOLOD City – A 36-year-old man was shot to death by an unidentified gunman around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, in Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Jerome Ducay, a resident of the city’s Barangay 5, succumbed to gunshot wounds on his face and head.
San Carlos City police said the victim was in front of a gadget shop when the gunman approached and shot him multiple times at close range.
Police added that the gunman immediately fled after the incident.
Recovered from the crime scene were three empty shells of a caliber .45 gun, a slug and a pouch containing a plastic sachet of suspected shabu.
As of this writing, San Carlos City police were still investigating the incident to determine the motive behind the attack and identify the assailant./PN
