AKLAN – A fire broke out in a stockroom of a sari-sari store in Barangay Poblacion, Tangalan town in this province.
Fire Officer 2 Henry Tuazon of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Tangalan said the damage caused by the fire was pegged at over P40,000.
The said stockroom contained grocery rejects, according to the store owner.
Also, no one was reported injured during the blaze that started around 3:50 p.m. on October 3.
Tuazon said the fire may have started after someone burned trash around two meters away from the stockroom and left it unattended./PN
