NEGROS Occidental – The Manapla Municipal Police Station collared Western Visayas’ No. 1 most wanted person around 9:21 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15.
The 28-year-old alias “Vin,” a resident of Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental, was arrested in the town’s Barangay I-B through the strength of an arrest warrant for rape.
The suspect was detained at the Manapla Municipal Police Station. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Data from the Police Regional Office 6 showed that from 6 a.m. on October 15 to 5:59 a.m. on October 16, 15 more wanted persons were nabbed regionwide.
All accused are now under police custody and will be turned over to the court concerned./PN
