CAPIZ – Community health volunteers (CHV) in Roxas City received their special risk allowance (SRA) funded by the provincial government’s Gender and Development Fund.

Gov. Fredenil Castro and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Alex Nolasco led the distribution of allowances to around 2,000 CHVs at Capiz Gym on Wednesday, March 26.

Barangay health workers (BHWs) received P2,000 each and P1,500 for each barangay nutrition scholar and barangay service point officer (BSPO).

Ini [SRA] bilang pagkilala sa kabudlayan kag sakripisyo sang aton mga CHVs sa pagserbisyo sa komunidad, ilabi na sa panahon sang pandemya,” said Gov. Castro.

The governor further said the CHVs could expect another round of SRA release in December this year.

Ini tanda sang padayon nga pagsuporta sang gobyerno probinsyal sa aton mga frontliners bilang pagpasalamat sa padayon nga pagpalig-on sang aton public health services,” he added./PN
