ILOILO City – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s (IPPO) two-month campaign against wanted persons from July 1 to August 29 yielded 132 suspects.
IPPO data showed that of the total apprehensions, 45 are classified as most wanted persons.
“Thirty-six are most wanted at the municipal level, eight are categorized as provincial most wanted, and one is regional fugitive arrested by the Maasin police station,” the IPPO said.
Police Colonel Bayani Razalan, IPPO director, said these accomplishments were the result of his marching order to all units to review all persons who have an arrest warrants in their area of responsibility and arrest them.
He also lauded the relentless efforts of all tracker teams from different IPPO units, emphasizing that their dedication reflects the commitment of personnel to serve and protect the community.
