ANTIQUE – A driver and his backrider landed in the hospital after their motorcycle overshot the road in Barangay Bagtason, Bugasong town, around 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28.
Police identified the victims as aliases “Reymund”, 18, a resident of the town’s Barangay Pojo, and “Kurt”, 16, of Barangay Bagtason.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Arnel Delos Santos, investigator of the Bugasong Municipal Police Station, the motorcycle, driven by Reymund with Kurt and another friend as his backriders, was on its way to Barangay Llaures with the accident occurred.
Delos Santos said Reymund sustained a wound on his forehead and a fracture on his left leg. He was transferred to Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose de Buenavista town for proper medical care. Kurt, meanwhile, was recuperating at the Bugasong Medicare Community Hospital.
Another backrider, alias “Jon”, was unharmed, police added./PN
