BACOLOD City — The observance of Undas 2025 in Bacolod City was peaceful, with the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) reporting zero crime incidents across all public and private cemeteries.
According to the BCPO, no untoward incidents were recorded from October 31 to November 1, a success attributed to the relentless efforts of police personnel and the effective implementation of security and safety measures.
The police ensured peace and order in all areas where visitors gathered to pay respects to their departed loved ones. Personnel were strategically deployed across cemeteries, major thoroughfares, and transport terminals to provide security coverage, traffic assistance, and public safety services.
Continuous coordination with other law enforcement agencies, force multipliers, and the city government also helped maintain a safe and orderly observance of the holiday.
BCPO commended the cooperation and discipline of the public, noting that their adherence to rules significantly contributed to the incident-free commemoration.
Earlier, Colonel Joeresty Coronica, city director of BCPO, said that more than 200 police personnel were deployed in cemeteries and other strategic areas where people converge, including transport terminals, to ensure the safety and security of the public./PN
