Traditionally, dental diagnosis has relied heavily on visual examination and X-rays, both of which are subject to human interpretation.
AI is now enhancing this process by analyzing dental images—such as radiographs, intraoral scans, and 3D cone-beam CT scans—with exceptional precision. Machine learning algorithms can detect cavities, periodontal disease, bone loss, and even early signs of oral cancer with remarkable accuracy.
