ONEMIG Bondoc is more than happy to spend some quality time with Aiko Melendez, shortly after confirming that he is romantically pursuing the actress.
Bondoc took to his Instagram page on Saturday, January 10, to share photos of himself while bonding with the Quezon City councilor.
“Happy together… after 29 [years],” he captioned his post.
The former matinee idol’s post caught the attention of his followers in the comments section, including Melendez’s daughter Marthena Jickain who seemingly showed her support for her mother’s suitor.
“Aww,” Marthena wrote in the comments.
Bondoc responded to her message, telling her to “enjoy her time” with her father Martin Jickain.
In a joint TikTok live on the same day, Bondoc confirmed in a TikTok live that he is courting Melendez, although the actress-politician said she has yet to accept him as her boyfriend. Both of them are “good friends” nonetheless.
“Are we bagay? Talaga (Do we match? Really)? Should I give him a chance,” Melendez said.
Bondoc said that he wishes they are a perfect match.
“I wish. Pero hindi niya pa ko sinasagot eh (But she hasn’t answered me yet),” he said. “We’re just friends, real friends.”
The “Wildflower” star further clarified that they’re not going to make a movie together since the actor is no longer active in the entertainment industry.
“Hindi po kami gagawa ng pelikula po. Wala po kaming any project together. You know that Onemig is not active anymore in show business. It has nothing to do with chismis or whatever,” she said.
