ILOILO – Police authorities successfully apprehended the province’s eighth most wanted individual during a targeted law enforcement operation on February 16.
The suspect, identified as alias “Arlyn,” 51, was arrested at her residence in Barangay Cali, Dumangas, Iloilo at approximately 11:55 a.m.
The operation was spearheaded by the Tracker Team of the Dumangas Municipal Police Station (MPS) acting on a standing warrant of arrest against the suspect for three counts of violating Republic Act (RA) 9208, or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, as amended by RA 10364 and RA 11862.
The accused is currently in the custody of the Dumangas MPS for proper disposition. No bail bond has been recommended for her temporary release./PN
