ILOILO — The Passi City Police Station (CPS) apprehended a 32-year-old man listed as the No. 2 most wanted person in Western Visayas.
Police Lieutenant Colonel German R. Magbanua III, chief of Passi CPS, said alias “Ayie”, an unemployed resident of the city’s Barangay Aglalana, was arrested at approximately 9 a.m. on March 1 in Barangay Tagubong.
Operatives from the Passi CPS’ Tracker Team served the warrants of arrest for three counts of statutory rape and two counts of lascivious conduct against the suspect.
The arrest warrants were issued by the presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 6 in Dumangas, Iloilo. The court recommended no bail for statutory rape charges and set a bail of P200,000 for each count of lascivious conduct case.
The suspect is currently detained at the Passi CPS pending turnover to the court concerned.
