ILOILO City – A drunken man attacked a barangay coluncilman of Calajunan, Mandurriao district.
The 49-year-old Jose De Honor identified his attacker as Jose Palca. He also told the police it happened around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 1.
According to De Honor, he and village watchman Reynaldo Alegre were foot-patrolling the barangay when they encountered three men roaming aimlessly – Palca, Ren-Ren Deciro and Alegre’s brother Jun.
De Honor said Alegre told Jun and the two others to better go home but Palca got mad.
De Honor said he was hit on the left eye./PN
