BACOLOD City – A man was killed on Friday after a 6-wheeler truck crashed against a motorcycle on Circumferential Road, Barangay Villamonte.
Ronnie Samanon Jr., 21, died on the spot, while his father, Ronnie Sr., 42, was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police Station 4 reported that the truck driven by Jose Garcia, 53, of Barangay Taculing, was travelling from south to north direction when it overtook another vehicle and sideswiped the motorcycle of the victims.
Garcia was detained at the police station./PN
