ILOILO City – Two farmers on a drinking binge had a fight in Barangay Gutao, Dingle, Iloilo. One ended up dead.
The 30-year-old Botchoy Catequista died of a gunshot wound on Dec. 16. The suspect was his friend Padoy Daprinal.
The shooting happened late at night after their two other drinking buddies left.
From what the police so far gathered, the binge drinking started around 8:30 p.m. but Catequista and Daprinal decided to stay on when their two friends left.
From what witnesses told the police, Catequista and Daprinal had an argument.
Daprinal fled after the shooting. The Dingle police launched a manhunt./PN
