ILOILO City – A 47-year-old woman charged with estafa was arrested in Barangay San Jose Ward, Pototan, Iloilo.
Rowena Azucena was detained at the municipal police station around 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 6.
Judge Cecilia Austria of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 2 in Batangas City issued the suspect’s arrest warrant.
Azucena was charged with estafa in Batangas two years ago, police said.
As of this writing, it was unclear if the suspect was able to post bail that the court set at P2,000./PN
