BACOLOD City – An unidentified suspect shot and killed a 46-year-old resident of Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Joerel “Gamay” Villaruel was hit on the back of the head. He was taken to a private hospital here but was declared “dead on arrival.”
The shooting happened 1 p.m. on Jan. 18 on Block 25, Lot 11 of the Carmela Valley Executive Village, police said.
The suspect fled. Police have yet to identify the suspect and determine the motive as of this writing./PN
