ILOILO City – A knife and a sachet of shabu were confiscated from two men at a checkpoint in Barangay Magsaysay, City Proper.
Alex Crispo, 37, and Joebert Base, 36, were detained at Police Station 1 on Saturday around 5:30 p.m. Both were residents of Barangay Zamora, City Proper.
At the checkpoint set up to maintain peace and order as the city was celebrating the Dinagyang Festival, the two men were frisked and yielded the knife and shabu./PN
