BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu was seized from the No. 1 illegal drug suspect in Valladolid, Negros Occidental on Sunday.
Romeo Magnabe, a resident of Barangay Central Tabao, Valladolid, was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 2 a.m. in the town’s Barangay Palaka.
Magnabe sold to an undercover police officer a plastic pack of suspected shabu for P300. Ten more plastic packs of similar substance were recovered from him, all of which were worth an estimated P3,300.
Senior Inspector Junji Liba, Valladolid police chief, said the suspect claimed he got his supply from Bacolod City.
Magnabe was detained in the Valladolid police station lockup cell.
Police will file charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 against him today./PN
