
PANAY NEWS, Inc. capped the year with a vibrant whole-day yearend party on December 20, 2025 at Joel’s Events Place in Santa Barbara, Iloilo, bringing together employees from Iloilo, Bacolod City and Manila for a celebration marked by camaraderie and appreciation.
The gathering was also attended by Panay News’ co-founder Maria S. Fajardo, Vice President for Finance Ma. Daneli F. Salonga, and Sangguniang Bayan member Daniel S. Fajardo II of Pavia, Iloilo.



The event opened with a corporate meeting and talks earlier in the day, allowing the organization to reflect on milestones, align goals, and set directions for the coming year. As the program progressed, the mood shifted to celebration, with games, raffle prizes, and gift packs energizing the afternoon and evening, fostering laughter, excitement, and stronger bonds among employees.

The highlight of the celebration was the awards ceremony recognizing outstanding employees for their contributions throughout the year. Rex Maestrecampo was honored as Panay News’ Employee of the Year, Emil Jun Estimada as Watchmen Daily Journal’s Employee of the Year, and Ricardo Jabonillo Jr. as Social Media Advocate of the Year.




Moreover, the Digital Department won as champion for the PN Tiktok Dance Challenge, followed by the Editorial Department as first runner-up, Admin, Finance and Marketing departments as second runner-up, and Operations and Circulation departments as third runner-up.




Lyndie Defacto and Joevanie Camilan were named Best Dressed Female and Best Dressed Male of the Night, respectively, while Lino Samson received the Early Bird award.

For the group games category, the BlueThought team was declared as champion. While the BlueBalita was the first runner-up, followed by the Blueming as second runner-up.

Also awarded were Fajardo Gasoline Station’s dedicated workers: Leo Alisna (Employee of the Year) and Judy Ortiga (Most Well-Groomed)./PN
