PRESIDENT Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia has tested a new nuclear cruise missile. This version is nuclear powered and can carry nuclear weapons, something we should all fear.
When I take a car out for a test run it is because I might buy it to use. When I try on a new shirt I might buy it to use. When citizens test a new rifle it is not going to be put away never to be used.
There is no positive spin on Putin testing new weapons, it is reasonable to panic.

Hot desk venue or hot dance venue
With the remodeling / destruction of the East Wing of the Whitehouse there are still some questions to be considered.
The East Wing has mostly served as office space and facilities for the United States First Lady but where will this work happen now?
The current First Lady, Mrs. Melania Trump, hasn’t generally been as active in this role as some of her predecessors so a new office space isn’t an urgent concern.
A simple solution could be to make it a dual-purpose venue, ballroom by night, and a hot desk working space during the day, given that there will be plenty of desks and chairs available.
This would be a bit of a “left-field” approach and unfortunately the President doesn’t like left thinking.

Santa has a woke problem
A “Santa”, not the real one of course, has been sacked for being too fat and the world has just gotten a little more sad.
Being of a similar build I can sympathize with the need for being as healthy as possible so that I can do my job well, but this is a job where you are portraying a fat person and thus he should be more suited than most to wear the red suit.
LaplandUK are trying to provide a great Christmas performance but it looks like they are taking on the role of the Grinch.
