AFC Cup: Ceres vs Cambodia tonight

CERES Negros FC aims to keep its unbeaten record in the AFC Cup Group stage when it battles Boeung Ket FC tonight at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The Ceres Negros-Boeung Ket match will kickoff at 6: 30 p.m. in Phnom Penh (7: 30 p.m. Philippine time).

Ceres Negros is currently on top of Group F with 10 points on three wins and one draw while Boeung Ket is on fourth place with 3 points on one win and three draws.

The Busmen are determined to win against Beoung Ket to secure a spot in the next stage of the AFC Cup for the third consecutive year.

Leading the way for Ceres Negros are Takumi Uesato, OJ Porteria and Bienvenido MaraƱon, who scored two goals each during their 9-0 win over Cambodia in their first meeting in February in Bacolod City.

Boeung Ket has become a lot different since ā€“ it will parade a complete lineup, including its Nigerian foreign player, in an aim to salvage its group stage campaign.

Julius Oiboh will now be available for Boeung Ket as the Nigerian was instrumental in producing their only win against Home United. Fellow import Samuel Ajayi will be absent after getting a red card in their last match.

Meanwhile, Global Cebu FC is targeting its second straight win and aims to stay alive in Group G when it takes on Vietnamā€™s FLC Thanh Hoa tonight at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Global Cebu is on fourth place in the group with 4 points on one win, one draw and two defeats. FLC Thanh Hoa has the same standing but is on third place due to goal difference./PN
